As Harvard University scientists continue to search for extraterrestrial life, a new website lets you track and record UFO sightings across the United States.

UFO discoveries include observations of unidentified objects in flight from the 1960s. With over 70,000 recorded comments, users can search the site by city, state, plane shape, year, and duration.

Observations ranged from “a blue light hanging over the ocean” to a 1969 report describing the sight of “a 12-inch translucent ball of light that is a living creature.” But, of course, none of the reports were checked.

Back in June, the Pentagon released an unclassified report on UFO sightings. The report found no evidence of extraterrestrial technology and simply concluded that the mysterious aerial phenomenon remains unexplained. According to The New York Times, the report said that most of the 120 UFO incidents in the past two decades did not stem from the US military or modern US government technology. This definition excludes that observation is a program that the government wishes to keep secret.

However, officials told the release that this was the only definitive finding in the report. Meaning the possibility that aliens were responsible for the UFOs could not be officially disproved.
